A REGION QUITE NATURALLY FOCUSSED ON THE ENVIRONMENT
The inhabitants of Franche-Comté have respected their surrounding nature since time immemorial, which is why Franche-Comté is now the most wooded regions in France. And thanks to the action undertaken since 1991 by “Espace Naturel Comtois” it shall continue tobe protected. And towns are now also following their example, with free-access bikes in Besançon in particular!
